Along with residential inspection services and property inspections, we also offer commercial loan site inspections.

We strictly follow the Standards of Practice for home inspectors established by TREC  (Texas Real Estate Commission), the state agency that governs real estate practices in the state of Texas. As a locally owned home inspection company, our primary goal is to serve the areas of Houston, Pearland, Sugar Land, League City and surrounding areas with integrity. Our real estate home inspection service and commercial loan site inspections ensure no corner is left unturned— since we’re perfectionists, you can fully trust us with your property inspections.

Upon completion of your home inspection we will go over our findings with you and your agent. Findings that are major issues will be physically identified before conclusion of inspection. We will also cover yearly and preventative maintenance items to assist in all major components functioning properly. All of our residential home inspection services contain a detailed and  easy-to-read report, that will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. All inspectors with HTX Home Inspections are members of HAR. With this membership it gives us access to homes that may have Supra eKey, combination code or door lock codes. HTX Home Inspections will book all inspections in ShowingSmart or ShowingTime which will notify sellers and listing agents of upcoming inspection.

In the state of Texas all home inspectors must be licensed by TREC (The Texas Real Estate Commission). Inspectors must complete the required training and coursework set forth by TREC. Also, upon the completion of that course work your inspector had to pass a state and national exam to become a licensed home inspector. Furthermore, your inspector has to complete 32 hours of continued education every 2 years to keep his/her license active and up to date.

It is up to you whether you decide to attend the home inspection or not. If you attend be aware that your inspector will be focused on your inspection! We ask that all questions be reserved for the end of the inspection. If you do not attend, after the report is published and you have had a chance to look over it, please feel free to give the inspector a call. Your inspector will go over the report with you and answer any questions or concerns about their findings.

You can expect to receive your inspection report the same day of the inspection. Your report will be in HTML and PDF forms and delivered to the email and phone number we have on file.

As a small business we are required to have general liability and errors and omissions insurance.
